An IRA qualified charitable distribution allows individuals 70½ and older to reduce their taxable income by making a gift directly from their IRA.

- Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to Meharry Medical College.
- Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to Meharry.
- Please note that IRA qualified charitable distribution do not qualify for a charitable deduction for income taxes.
